Maybe: If you have a nebulizer available it may help some. I often use only sterile saline (an unopened bottle of nose wash will do) for such nebs to avoid the stimulating effects of albuterol. It helps wet the airway and help loosen secretions. If it is just saline you can do it as often as desired.
