Tear trough filler: This procedure is done off-label by experienced injectors. The best filler to use in the tear trough area is hyaluronic acid based and with low water attraction properties like Belotero or Restylane. All hyaluronic fillers can lead to a bluish discoloration called the Tyndall effect so less is more when working on this area. If you have a lot of low lid laxity, filler is not the best option.
