What is the minimum legal age to receive cosmetic/plastic surgery without parental consent?

18: I will, on occasion perform "cosmetic surgery" on patients less than 18, with parental consent. Otoplasty (ear pinning) and breast reduction are two common examples. But in general I do not like to burden parents with a decision to put their child in the operating room for cosmetic surgery.
