May be, but: first medical treatment should be tried, cause or pathology has to be defined (allergic, non- allergic, fungal, etc..) other problems as asthma also need to be addressed. Medical treatment may consist of systemic steroids, broad spectrum antibiotics for weeks not days, local steroids , seek the help of an ENT specialist and an allergist/ immunologist, if you have access to one, good luck
