A few labs have come back with proteinuria. dr wants a renal biop. would that show what caused damage? like meds, my lupus, etc, or just confirm?

Judge severity: Since you have lupus, that's by far the most likely cause. I would guess your doctor wants a biopsy not to confirm the diagnosis, but to judge its severity. Ask her!
