Maybe: Breastfeeding should NEVER be considered adequate birth control if it matters. Some women do not ovulate for a time during breastfeeding and may put off menses for months. Menses can reflect estrogen stimulation without the ovulation produced hormone & these are often heavier than normal. Some women can resume ovulation within a month or two even BF.
