Miscarriage: There are many different reasons for a miscarriage. If you are having recurrent miscarriages (usually defined as 3 or more in a row) you should see an OBGYN for a workup. There could be genetic causes. Also, sometimes medical conditions such as diabetes, or low or high thyroid, can cause miscarriages. You will need blood work and an ultrasound to determine a cause.
