IVF: If your wife had an embryo transfer on May 10th, then a blood test on May 21st should be able to detect a pregnancy if the embryo implanted. If the test was negative, it likely means that the embryo did not implant into the uterus, and that she is not pregnant. Your IVF doctor can also give you some more info on their thoughts.
