Veins : Sounds normal as you probably are in good shape and weight so you don’t have a lot of subcutaneous fat to cover veins deeply

Jugular vein -: -dilation is common in-some people, but is usually bilateral. Check with your PCP. This can be common for you, but an eval will help put your mind at ease, or if another cause is suspected get referrals as needed.

That's normal: The external jugular veins are often of different sizes. It sounds like your left one is big. If you're fit and trim, it's probably easier to see and your blood volume may be higher which is good. These veins distend whenever your intrathoracic pressure increases -- when you strain, when you exercise, when you cough, etc., etc. Others can often see these veins when you lie down.
