Rule of 3500: Roughly there are about 3500 calories in a stored pound of fat. To lose weight, you need to have a net loss of calories daily. For 1 pound every three days: need a 1167 calorie net negative per day. Ideally, a combination of exercise (to increase calories "out") and reduction/modification of caloriic intake (to reduce calories "in") i wish you well.
