A member asked:

I have been on xarelto for six weeks because of a large blot clot between mid thigh and mid calf--i am schedule to fly from seattle to san fran straig?

It should be OK: The doctor who is treating your blood clot is the best person to give you the proper advice. Have you asked him/her? In my opinion you should be fine to fly as long as you are still taking your blood thinner. The only other precaution is to get up and walk around for few minutes every hour. This will keep your blood moving and present it from making a blood cot.
