Probably not: Every medication gets blamed for causing every side effect, and in our medicolegal climate they have to be listed. Really bad tinea cruris / jock itch is brutal and may call for systemic treatment, but you might get as much success from a topical antifungal and especially talcum / Gold Bond powder a few times a day.
