Inflammation: Inflammation of the sinus and nasal mucosal (surface layer) tissue. could be related to chronic rhinosinusitis due to allergy or non-allergic triggers, infection, or other rarer causes. the ordering physician should be prepared to discuss the results in your specific case. Effective treatment depends on the cause, which is not readily apparent from the CT scan report by itself.
