Sphenoid/paranasal/maxillary sinus-mild inflammatory mucosal thickening. poly in maxillry sinus. what does it mean? on biaxin (clarithromycin) for 14 days.

Sinusitis: What it means is that you have sinus inflammation. It sounds as if you have had a cat scan. My personal feeling is that biaxin (clarithromycin) is not my drug of choice. If you are asymptomatic, steroids might help to resolve the inflammation which is your immune system trying to cure the virus or allergen that might be causing the sinusitis. If you are asymptomatic, you do not need treatment.
