A member asked:

Does my heart rate increasing as expected with exercise rule out heart block type 2? resting heart rate is 48, increases as expected however

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: You can still have 2nd degree AV block as you exercise and increase your sinus node rate if every 2nd or 3rd ventricular beat is blocked. For example, if the atrial rate is 60 the ventricular rate could be 30; if the atrial rate increases to 80, the ventricular rate rises to 40. This is with a 2to1 2nd degree AV block.(mobitz 2 type).
