A member asked:

Hoe successful is iui for pcos? is it true in pcos with iui fetus will not develop properly?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not true: If you become pregnant using IUI, there is no increased risk that you will have fetal anomalies. If you have PCOS, sometimes physicians will recommend a combination of clomiphene and IUI to increase your chances of getting pregnant. IUI alone is usually not enough. You should be aware that clomiphene increases your risk of having a multiple pregnancy (twins) to about 10%.
