Transitioning infant: This is going to behavior reconditioning that you and your baby are going to have to work on together. You must gradually wean the baby off of milk, and onto a healthy well balanced diet Seek assurance from an infant nutritionist and behavioral therapist or recommended transitions from breast feeding to regular diet fails after age 2.

You: If you want to start solids, give them prior to breast feeding. Ensure he has the solids 1st. No solids, no breast milk. It may take up to 2 weeks to establish a more normal feeding pattern. All the best.
