A member asked:

I had my hormones checked. my levels for lh and fsh came out low and my oestradiol came out high at 999. could this be an indicator or ovarian cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: Not necessarily true unless there is a granulosa ovarian cell tumor which produces large amounts of estrogen. Ovarian cancer is best diagnosed with an ovarian biopsy and not blood testing and that includes the CA-125 which can be elevated erroneously with Endometriosis.
