I have hypothyroidism, i have swollen akles, i read up on this and found info telling me that this water retention could be related to the underactive thyroid. what medication if any can i take to alleviate this water retention? also puffy eyes

Hypothyroidism: These can be signs of under treated hypothyroidism. You should have the levels checked and treated with thyroid medication. There are diuretics but this is not how this type of swelling should be treated. See your M.D. to get levels checked and treated accordingly.
