Probably OK, but...: There are two reasons for retesting. 1) THere is a small possibility of treatment failure, especially with the drug you had (azithromycin). 5 weeks is fine for retesting for that reason. 2) 10-20% of people with chlamydia get entirely new infections in the next few months (untreated partner, new partner, etc). If reexposed recently, get retested at least a week after that newer exposure.

3 months: A test of cure will be recommended at 3 weeks if you are pregnant, but otherwise retesting will be recommended at 3 months as the chance of reinfection remains high.
