A 22-year-old female asked:

is there a way to tell how long you have had chlamydia? and is there a way to see if it was given to you from your partner?

Not particularly: About a 3rd of men and half of women have no obvious symptoms with chlamydia so it is hard to track the timing of acquisition. Your partner needs to be tested (urine). They find the chlamydia DNA in the specimen to confirm they have it.
