A member asked:

21 years old, have a couple tiny molluscum on my forehead. should i do anything? i dont want them to spread all over my face

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Things to ponder: Molluscum spread by local extension, primarily because people itch/scratch at them seeding new sites. If you leave them alone they should not spread. Any method of manual removal (freezing/acids) can leave a hole/scar bigger than the bump. They can self destruct if left alone in 6m-1yr. Some have suggested a mild steroid cream can help them disappear.
