A member asked:

Can you please tell me how pre-diabetes and diabetes differ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

One precedes the oth: They're just different stops along the same railroad. The difference is totally arbitrary as both are the same process and one gradually develops into the other. Both need the same treatment w/education, diet, exercise, weight loss and medication.
