Atypical: These atypical cells in the urine are nonspecific and can be seen with stones,inflammation or malignancy. If there is further concern your physician can order a cytology examination of the urine which is more specific. A FISH test of the urine is ordered when cytology is inconclusive.Your physician or urologist can advise you best.
