A member asked:

Can two people with extreme mental illness have a stable relationship?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes it is possible: Obviously if their mental illness' are not stable and being properly treated, the individuals would probably not be stable and it would be hard to have a stable relationship. In other words, it is important for each person with " extreme" mental illness to have their conditions under control with therapy and whatever medication is required. That will contribute to a good relationship.
