I have not been getting my periods for a while the doctor prescribed prevera after that i did get my periods as normal for 4 days , after a few weeks of getting my periods i am having abdominal pain and tender breasts.

Skipped periods: Provera is progesterone, and withdrawal bleeding will occur (if not pregnant). Rarely, you will get withdrawal bleeding from Provera and still be pregnant, but not in the uterus. Get a serum HCG test to make certain, and if positive, see your gyn provider asap, since ectopic pregnancies need immediate attention. Abdominal pain and tender breasts can suggest an ectopic pregnancy.
