Ovarian ultrasound: The report is generally normal as described. This report does not account for endometriosis which might be present causing abdominal pain and more severe menstrual cramps. The "central echogenic stroma " term may be also a normal result. If symptoms have prompted this ultrasound, laparoscopic surgery may be conclusive.
