Worth checking: The majority of these squishy lumps will turn out to be benign fibrocystic disease of the breast. Some will not. To sort out the cause a specialized ultrasound exam and or mammogram could be needed to characterize the lump. If worrisome on those exams more testing may be needed. To start, have your doc do a breast exam while teaching you how to do a thorough self exam.
