Conjunctivitis: What you described suggests a viral infection of the eye. If it has not subsided or spread to the other eye, it would be prudent to see you doctor. Wish you good health!

Eye irritation : Could be an allergic response or dermatitis, if any pain get examined soon otherwise try cool compress and antihistamine. Get examination if no improvement or symptoms worsen
