A member asked:

My alkaline phosphate has been high over the last 3 years. seeing a specialist who had some tests run. could high levels cause cronic back pain.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Around 5% of older folks run a high alk phos. I suspect that many of these are due to subclinical Paget's disease, which never becomes a problem, and is impossible to diagnose. If it doesn't show on imaging, it's not the cause of your low back pain. Best wishes.
