Dermatographism: Some people get hives when the skin is scratched. This results in linear welts and itching that lasts 1-2 hours.
Most cases are not associated with any conditions, but it can be associated with other conditions.

I have lead in my skin and I'm worried it could cause cancer can it or can it not?

How do you know?: How did you determine that there is lead in your skin? Lead accumulates in bones not in skin. All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that.
