Hard to do: Well - that is hard to do - as pre menopausal women produce estrogen and that is what fibroids need to grow. So hence as for what to eat to prevent fibroids- you might decrease foods that have estrogen like properties - so foods such as black cohosh, yams, and soy have estrogen like properties.

Fibroids ??: Fibroid tumors are independent of what foods are consumed, and new ones or growth of smaller ones are dependent on estrogen production during reproductive years of a woman's life. They will reduce in size during menopause. Taking oral birth control pills will stop ovarian estrogen production, and fibroid growth is diminished.

Not really: Fibroids are "fed" by the hormone estrogen and other than some foods like yams(sweet potatoes) that contain estrogen, most foods do not have a high enough concentration to impact the growths.
