What would be a good way to take care of a hoarse voice?

It depends: There is no simple answer to this one without knowing the cause. If it is acute, a week or two, voice rest and liquids will likely result in improvement. If it has been of longer duration you need to be evaluated by an ENT docttor who can visualize your vocal cords and identify the cause.
