Hi sunday i got stitches on the ring finger because i fell and smashed it open or cut it open it's been hurting since how do i get rid of the pain.? it was swollen but not anymore it still hurts though i'm getting it out tuesday

It is normal to have: discomfort following sutures in the finger! A DRY cold pack may help (pressure activated packs are available in the pharmacy) After the sutures are removed soaking in hot water may help you regain strength/motion and reduce your pain! Hope this is helpful Dr Z
