YES: The newer CT scanners have the "resolution" to detect tiny abnormalities! You have to have that scan in such a facility! The MRI 3T is more sensitive but costly. Discuss with your treating physician. BTW is there a reason that you cannot have a colonoscopy??THAT'S the "way to go!" Hope this is helpful Dr Z
