Allergy to NSAIDs: Yes, it is safe to use Allopurinol (Puricos) if a person is allergic to NSAIDs (Voltaren, Diclofenac, etc.). If the person is allergic to Allopurinol, Colchicine, Steroids like prednisone can be used, and the Interleukin-1 inhibitors not yet approved by FDA.
