May be significant: You should never hesitate to call you OB provider if she is having pain - that is what they are there for. It is even more urgent if there is fever, nausea, vomiting, vaginal discharge or bleeding. It may be nothing too - call them and get some reassurance.

Call her OB MD: Any sharp pains in known pregnancy should be evaluated by the ob-gyn.
