2400 mgm: per 24 hours is the MAXIMUM recommended dosage.. This would allow you to take 600 mgm every 6 hours or 800 mgm every 8 hours... This should be adequate for a Mammogram examination under usual conditions Hope this is helpfuul Dr Z
