See your doctor: if redness is spreading, this should be evaluated by ur doctor for underlying problem such as inflammatory condition or abscess/cellulitis which may require more urgent care including drainage and/or antibiotics. Earlier care may prevent more extensive treatment so would have evaluated soon. Empiric warm soaks and motrin would be only guess without knowing exact cause from proper history and exam
