Had ureatal stent removed yesterday after last wk stone removal. 2hrs after stent removal i had side and bladder pain ended up in er for pain. i am having another bout of bladder and flank pain not touched by pain meds. is this normal?

Not normal: but expected, due to the manipulation and your history, it can still be a urinary tract infection, you want to contact your doctor, meanwhile increase fluid intake, to flush your urinary tract, and take a pain killer OTC as needed, wish you well
