Sinusitis: Augmentin is usually effective in eradicating paranasal sinusitis, but it may have to be taken for 2-3 weeks. If symptoms persist, a ct scan of the sinuses is helpful in ruling in or out sinusitis. An Otolaryngologist can also be consulted.
