was on augmentin and another antibiotic for sinus infection but nothing has helped. could it be something else? i feel it in my face and head. 58yro.

Sinusitis: Augmentin is usually effective in eradicating paranasal sinusitis, but it may have to be taken for 2-3 weeks. If symptoms persist, a ct scan of the sinuses is helpful in ruling in or out sinusitis. An Otolaryngologist can also be consulted.
