Need ENT eval: Ear nose and throat doctors do fine needle biopsies of thyroid nodules to rule out cancer. Radiologists suggest criteria as well on the screening ultrasound test. Most nodules are benign. However, you do not know until all medical history, radiation history and needle biopsy are complete to rule out a cancerous lesion. Find an ENT physician who can give you guidance.
