Ive just recovered after a cold. im now coughing up thick green mucus in the mornings when i wake up. chest feels heavy. do i have an infection?

No Necessarily: After a chest infection it is not uncommon to have coughing for 4-6 weeks afterwards. If you are not having fevers, chills, or worsening shortness of breath then I would just watch it. If the coughing starts to get worse or you have new symptoms consult your doctor. If you are smoking, then stop or look forward to living the rest of your life like this.
