Whoa: Gastrin itself will not do this, but let’s look at the big picture. High gastrin can be due to a range of things from taking antacids to having a rare pancreatic cancer. Lung nodules can be anything from the banal lesions of histoplasmosis that are almost the norm in much of the US to metastatic cancer. Telling the difference is the radiologist’s and clinicians job. I hope it’s nothing.
