No: Most women, pregnant or not, have heartburn or back pain at some time in their lives. That means heartburn or back pain does not mean pregnancy, but many pregnant women do get heartburn or back pain. The easiest way to think about this is to look at men. Men get heartburn or back pain, but those symptoms don't mean pregnancy.
