Torn meniscus: I'm not surprised that the corticosteroid didn't relieve the discomfort of the torn meniscus. If you're experiencing persistent knee pain, locking or swelling, arthroscopic surgery may be indicated. Your orthopedic surgeon can advise you best about treatment options.
