Placental grading: Placental grading is a term that is no longer used in most countries as it has poor correlation with pregnancy outcome. Grading has to do with the appearance of the placenta and the level of calcifications. A grade 2 placenta at 32 weeks would be considered normal although again this system has fallen out of favor.
