UTI: Symptoms of UTI include burning, needing to urinate frequently, feeling the need to urinate. If you have fever or back or side pain, consider going to an ER or urgent care center if you cannot see your regular doctor. Fever, chills, back pains can mean a more serious problem.

UTI treatment: Call the office now, ask for provider on call. If you've had UTI before and have typical symptoms (frequent, painful, urgent urination), they'll probably try to find a way to see you sooner, even over the weekend. Or might arrange urine testing and antibiotic by phone. For sure get seen right away if you have flank pain or fever. Lots of fluids plus OTC phenazopyridine (Azo etc) can help symptoms.
