Abdominal pain?: There's probably a simple explanation. It's Saturday; your doctor may not be on call and asked Urgent Care to contact you. Perhaps the UC clinic also asked how you're feeling and helped decide whether the ultrasound or other test should be done sooner than next week. If so, it suggests it's not dangerous to wait. But recheck with urgent care if you're in pain, otherwise ill, or uncertain.
