If not quickly resolved, the doctor can refer the patient to a urologist to fix the problem. Time is of the essence, which means paraphimosis needs to be resolved right away. Avoid paraphimosis by immediately pulling the foreskin foreward over the glans, as soon as it seems trapped behind the glans.
